Moving checkout closer to the product could matter more than another Merchant Center settings page. If someone can buy while they are already asking Google about a product, there is a plausible case for removing friction. But an easier route into UCP is an onboarding improvement, not evidence that those shoppers will place more orders.

The bit that needs care is measurement. A checkout completed on Google could change what shows up in the website purchase journey. I'd want to understand how those orders appear in analytics tools and order reporting, whether purchase values reconcile, and whether the same sale could be counted twice. A higher reported CVR is not much use if the reporting boundaries have changed underneath it.

There is no basis here for loosening a PMax target or increasing Shopping spend. The report describes eligible product listings, not a proven paid traffic advantage. For a merchant with access, exploring the checkout flow testing is a sensible starting point, particularly where the existing checkout loses customers. Then the question becomes whether completed orders and margin improve, rather than whether a new purchase route looks good in a demo. The snapshot cites Google help documentation, but that document has not been independently checked here and there are no performance results to judge yet.
